Metal Processes for GCSE
This resource covers GCSE type questions around the subject of metal processes. It includes methods of joining metals, finish metals and a link to offshore manufacture with a mixed question which is typical of all exam boards. These Metal processes questions are featured in GCSE Design and Technology, Product design and GCSE Engineering papers, so these worksheets would be suitable for students sitting any one of these. As usual my worksheets are supported by YouTube clips. I have included a question walkthrough for some of the main questions, these walkthroughs allow students to follow a structured approach to dealing with these type of questions. I have also linked a subject knowledge clip on poprivieting which is featured on the worksheet.

Exploded Drawing - Draw a clock
This is a drawing exercise for students to create an exploded drawing of clock and mechanism. This resource consists of two A3 drawing sheets. One has a isometric drawing grid, whist one is plain. There is also a further A4 sheet of instructions and keywords to further support learning.
This could be used as a stand alone lesson, as part of a Design and Technology or Engineering scheme of learning. This could also be set as a home learning task by utilising the YouTube clips as step by step tutorial.

This is an A3 worksheet for GCSE D&T or GCSE engineering. This sheet is intended to work with my Youtube clips on " Types of Metals" and " properties of metals. Together these resources could be used as an introductory lesson on metals. Alternately the sheet could be set for home learning with the two clips below linked in a google classroom.

These are sheets covering clips 1-3 of the words that you need to know.
This resource comprises;
1 x A3 sheet with 18 words
3 x A4 sheets with 6 words each
these can be used as a revision resource, or I use them as home learning by placing the Youtube clip in the classroom, students learn the words and the complete a sheet of six words at the start of the lesson

This delivery pack will allow teachers with little or no previous experience in Electronics to deliver each stage of manufacture, testing and packaging is covered in the accompanying Youtube tutorials. More experenced teachers will find an off the shelf project ready to deliver . This project can be taught in Non D&T specific teaching areas and covers, Components, resistors, transistors, LED’s, it has been developed to produce a fun and challenging Electronics project for KS3.

Brands Homework for GCSE D&T
A home learning resource for GCSE D&T involving a brands investigation. This is a major home learning task that covers brands , typically this could be set over a half term as a longer home learning task. This then covers this area which is a GCSE requirement in all GCSE D&T specifications. Included is an A3 worksheet and a copy of an exemplar completed task.

GCSE D&T Exam Questions Detergent Pod Storage
An set of teaching materials for a complete lesson that investigate the function and sustainability of packaging by making comparisons between two different types of packaging available for clothes washing pods. the sheets contain GCSE style questions relating to the properties of materials and sustainability.
This sheet is supported by a YouTube walkthrough of questions and also a clip explaining the packaging of detergent pods. the main sheet is supplied in A3 or A4 format. there is an additional learning check sheet with two sheets on an A4 sheet, which can be used to check unterstaning the following lesson.

A pack of resources covering Ergonomics and Anthropometrics for GCSE Design & Technology. This consists of two A3 worksheets and an A5 learning check which can be completed later to check and consolidate learning. The worksheets are supported by two clips on my Youtube channel which show the important Ergonomic features of two example Products toothbrushes and Barbeque tools. These sheets could be used as a two lesson mini project to introduce Ergonomics and Anthropometrics for GCSE. Some tasks on the sheet could be set as Home learning if supported by one of the YouTube Clips.

**Sustainability and the Six R’s for KS3 **
Two worksheets and a lesson starter activity for a single KS3 lesson that covers Sustanable design ansnd the six R’s. These worksheets can be used together with Clips on my Youtube channel . There is a clip explaining the two toothbrushes and also a more general clip expilaining the six R’s. I would suggest starting the lesson off with the Six R’s cilp and completing the starter activity. Then watch the toothbrush comparison and complete the worksheet.

This A3 frontsheet is used in the front of student folders to track progress through the NEA coursework. It also allows feedback to students in line with the exam boards guidelines. I created this for the AQA D&T NEA but it might work with other Exam boards.
Food Packaging Project Pack
This project pack contains three food packaging templates for A pizza box, a cupcake box and a triangle chocolate bar
These sheets provide a net for development for students to create three small functional food packaging items. This can be used as part of a Design and Technology Graphics or a Food lesson. Each sheet is A3 size and can be copied onto white card, this gives a good size to actually hold a Single Cupcake or mini pizza with the completed packaging.
We have used this in a multi part food lesson in which students can design and make a package and a food product. The sheet gives details of the relevant food packaging information requirements. I have also included in this pack an exemplar pizza box as featured in the Youtube clip.
There is a Youtube Clip On my channel “ Mr Ridley Design and Technology” showing how to assemble the Cupcake and pizza boxes. Using a Youtube clip this could be used as a cover or home learning task.
Design Brief & Specification booklet for GCSE NEA
Three sheets to assist students in compiling information to then produce the Design Brief & Specification sheet for their GCSE NEA. I use these over a couple of lessons to allow students to gather the information to produce a high quality Specification and Design Brief nea sheet. The various exam boards do not allow providing frameworks for writing, however, I personally feel that if these are not given to students electronically but write on these sheets as they research in each area then use the booklet to compile the NEA sheets in their own style.
Make a Cupcake Box
This sheet provides a net or development for students to create a small functional Cupcake box. This can be used as part of a food or graphics lesson or a food lesson. The sheet is A3 size and can be copied onto white card, this gives a good size to actually hold a Single Cupcake.
